Hi All
This is my first post so I hope it has not been asked to death. I pick up my 2005 SLK on Saturday and apparently there is an old type of phone cradle type thing like in the picture in the arm rest and the garage told her she needs the relevant part to slip into it to make it bluetoothed up.....
What is he talking about and where can I get one from to enable my phone to connect to the car?
Any help is much appreciated.
Many thanks
mrthe

you can get an blutooth cradle at de dealer that slips richt in.
if you push the little button on the top right of the cradle you can pul it down and remove the cradle.
i hope you understand.

De ergenis van slechte kwaliteit duurt voort, als de vreugde van de lage prijs allang verdwenen is.

Well, I saw that one coming.
Imho the best way, if BT music is an issue, will be an aftermarket device like Fiscon, Dension or MoBridge. However, these devices also emulate the MB mobile option, an option you already have installed. I don't think, but I'm not 100 % sure, that you can have both installed at the same time. So that would require removal of your factory installed mobile telephone option.
Had a Fiscon in my previous SLK, worked flawless, both telephone and BT audio playback.
Other option is the Viseeo MB3, it supports BT audio, but playback is through your FM receiver. The thing has an FM xmitter built in that converts the A2DP stream to an FM signal. Reports on the quality of the audio vary.
Other than that I am not aware of other ways to enable BT audio but maybe someone else can chime in.
BTW, in case you have not already stumbled on it, there is an excellent English spoken forum dedicated to SLK enthusiasts, SLKWorld.com, with lots of info on this and other matters.
Cheers
